Social Security Overpayments

With increasing frequency, the Social Security Administration overpays beneficiaries. The
Social Security Administration typically will aggressively pursue the repayment of these
overpayments. Often these overpayments are not the fault of the beneficiary but rather the
Social Security Administration itself. I have personally worked with overpayments in excess
of $100,000. Fortunately, many of these overpayments can be waived or settled for pennies
